Step-by-Step Guide to Assembling Your Wire Shelving Unit

Step 1: Attach the Leveling Feet

  1. Take the four leveling feet and screw them into the bottom of each Lower Pole.
  2. Ensure the feet are securely tightened to provide a stable base for the shelving unit.

Step 2: Install the First Set of Plastic Clips

  1. Snap the plastic clips onto the grooves of each Lower Pole at your desired height.
  2. Make sure the arrows on the plastic clips are pointing upward to ensure proper alignment

Step 3: Position the First Wire Shelf

  1. Hold the wire shelf and align it with the poles.
  2. Slide the top of each Lower Pole through the bottom corner openings of the shelf until it rests securely on the plastic clips.

Step 4: Add Plastic Clips for the Next Shelf

  1. Snap additional plastic clips onto the grooves of the Lower Poles at the desired height for the next shelf.
  2. Ensure the clips are evenly spaced and aligned.

Step 5: Install the Second Wire Shelf

  1. Slide the next wire shelf down from the top of the poles until it rests on the newly installed plastic clips.
  2. Ensure the shelf is level and securely in place.

Step 6: Connect the Upper Poles

  1. Take the Upper Poles and screw them into the Lower Poles using the provided connectors.
  2. Ensure the connection is tight and secure to maintain the unit’s stability.

Step 7: Install the Remaining Wire Shelves

  1. Repeat Step 3 to install the remaining wire shelves onto the Upper Poles.
  2. Once all shelves are in place, push the cap onto the top end of each Upper Pole to complete the assembly.

Step 8: Secure the Shelves

  1. Use a rubber mallet to gently tap down each corner of the wire shelves, ensuring they are firmly seated on the plastic clips.
  2. Check the leveling of the unit and adjust the leveling feet if necessary to ensure stability on uneven surfaces.

Final Tips:

  1. Double-check that all plastic clips are securely in place and that the shelves are evenly positioned.
  2. If using caster wheels, attach them to the leveling feet for added mobility.
